Coffee Talk: Tameka Raymond Opens Up About the Pain of Losing Her Son

• Tameka Raymond says she doesn't know how to put her son's death into words. It's been nearly four months since she suffered the loss of her 11-year-old son Kile Glover, who succumbed to injuries he obtained after being involved in a jet-ski accident. Although she continues to fight in court for custody of her two younger sons, with ex-husband Usher Raymond, Tameka says it's still hard to do daily activities without shedding tears for Kile. “I don’t know how… I don’t know how to really put it into words. It’s really hard,” she said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. “When God calls His children home so early, I think they have to be very special in order for God to say their work is done here.” [EURweb] 

• Bow Wow has been known as Mr. 106 and Park for years, and now he is officially living up to his nickname. The rapper-slash-actor was just announced as one of four new hosts of the popular BET countdown show. Former hosts Rocsi and Terrence wrapped up their final episode last Friday. According to BET, other new hosts slatted to appear include Shorty Da Prince, Paigon and Miss Mykie. [The YBF]

• R&B singer Miguel drops his sophomore album Kaleidoscope Dream today. The grammy-nominated singer reached the top spot on the Billboard Hot R&B/ Hip-Hop charts with the album's first single, "Adorn." Along with new music, fans can look forward to seeing Miguel on the road with his tour this fall. [EURweb]

• Lifetime's remake of the 1989 film Steel Magnolias has received a lot of buzz, as it stars Hollywood A-listers such as Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad and Jill Scott. However, the film's original producer, Victoria L. White, is suing the network, claiming she has a television agreement that requires she be involved as co-producer or co-executive producer on any TV project of the film. Along with film credit, White claims she has not received the money she deserves. [TMZ]

• Kanye West is being sued for copyright infringement for two songs he sampled on his My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album. New York record label TufAmerica claims the Grammy-winning rapper used "Hook and Sling, Part 1" by Eddie Bo on his songs "Who Will Survive in America?" and "Lost in the World." Although West paid a $62,500 license fee, the label claims he failed and refused to pay for his other multiple uses of the record. [The Hollywood Reporter]
