Good news! Puerto Rican beauty, Joan Smalls and fellow model, Karlie Kloss just got new gigs as the hosts of MTV’s House of Style. The announcement was made last night at the MTV Video Music Awards. “I can’t believe it,” Smalls told PEOPLE. “I’m in shock as well,” Kloss added. “It’s unbelievable and such a huge honor. We have major shoes to fill.”
The show originally debuted in 1989 with Cindy Crawford, Amber
Valetta, Molly Sims and Rebecca Romijn as regular hosts. A beloved
program on the network during the ’90s, the hope is that the fresh-faced
hosts will attract a new crop of young fashionistas. According to PEOPLE,
the program will be a combination of street style spotlights,
behind-the-scenes looks at fashion shows, music video shoots and more.
Look out for its premiere on Oct. 9!
