Boko Haram Kills Renown Islamic Cleric in Maiduguri

Some suspected Boko Haram members have yesterday evening shot dead a renown Islamic Cleric Ustaz Bukar Goni Kolo in Maiduguri, Borno State. Police Official said.
Spokesman of the Police in Borno State Gideon Jibrin who confirmed the incident today on phone said Ustaz Bukar Goni Kolo was killed by suspected Boko Haram terrorist in front  of Mafoni ward residence in Maiduguri, ” Yes it was unfortunate some suspected Boko Haram terrorist  shot the man dead, we have commence investigation but no arrest made yet”.
The spokesman revealed that security have been beefed up in and around the state to ensure security of lives and properties.(pointblanknews)
