Mariah Carey Hires Extra Security After Nicki Minaj Incident

Mariah Carey is apparently worried after an unpleasant confrontation with Nicki Minaj during auditions for American Idol. Barbara Walters spoke with the singer and reports that after Nicki allegedly said if she had a gun she’d shoot Mariah, she has taken the precaution and hired extra security.
According to Barbara:

When Nicki walked off the set multiple people heard her say
‘If I had a gun I would shoot (expletive) b*tch.’ There were staff members who heard, hairdressers, producers, other people. She is very concerned, she is with her twins. she doesn’t feel anything will happen but Nicki is very unpredictable and Mariah says she can’t take a chance and she has hired extra security. Nicki has not apologized but they have since been together at meetings with producers and judges. There was a meeting yesterday morning, after the meeting Nicki said ‘I love but we might fight again.’ Mariah responded, ‘No we will not.’ At this point Mariah says does not feel comfortable emotionally but she will continue with the show because she loves the show and mentoring the contestants.

I can’t say that I blame Mariah for hiring security, people are just too reckless nowadays.
