Minaj is no stranger to the fashion and beauty industry – evident in her ever changing style as well as taking part in several collaborations in the past. Back in 2010 she collaborated with Mac Cosmetics and released a limited edition lipstick “Pink 4 Friday” in honor of her Pink Friday LP, and more recently the rapper collaborated with K-Mart to launch an affordable clothing line in the United States.
The New York rapper is known for her outrageous wigs and eccentric style of clothing however recently she has been seen in a more grown and sexy look. “When I saw myself with barely any makeup at, it was such a… like, I’m so, so attached to my pink lipstick, it’s hard,” she says of her new toned-down look.
“I feel that it’s become a part of me. To go in front of the camera, without pink lips or big ol’ crazy lashes— you know, nothing— I felt naked. It was scary! So this photoshoot was a real accomplishment in my eyes.
