Gen Buhari, Governors Working to Stop Jonathan in 2015

The presidency in 2015 won't be a piece of cake for anyone, as governors in the PDP are determined to ensure President Goodluck Jonathan does not return to the oval office for a second tenure.
“It would be unwise for any of the governors to leave office with Jonathan still in power given what is turning out to be his ruthlessness. If the governors leave him behind, every one of them that has offended him would find himself in prison within weeks of Jonathan getting a second term.”
An insider source who's working with the opposition merger group as well as the PDP governors group made this disclosure on Thursday night. The source said majority of the governors are set to frustrate every move by Jonathan using their command of the majority of delegates at the PDP convention.

Should the plan of the governors to stop Jonathan in the PDP fail, they are said to be prepared to use the platform of the merged political party of ACN, CPC and ANPP to defeat him in 2015.

“Yes, all the opposition parties will coalesce into a big party. We shall all lose our identities and probably our jobs after assuming the identity of the new party. The need to salvage the nation from the precipitous rulership of the PDP is the cause of the initiative. Hopefully, this will emerge early next year.

National Publicity Secretary of the CPC, Mr. Rotimi Fashakin, said while stressing that “Indeed, we have crossed the rubicon and our minds are set on the merger.”
