Dear Readers: Would you forgive a betrayal ?

I received this email from a reader and thought I'd share with you guys.I am not in a position to give advice on this,maybe there is somebody out there who could,read on.
I was betrayed by someone very close to me a few years ago,an incident which drove me close to suicide and left me scarred for life.
I found solace in God,moved on with my life but I have since found it hard to trust anyone again.I was walking down the road last week when I was stopped in my tracks by a random stranger,he was one of those palm readers.I don't believe in soothsayers because of my faith,but this man made some startling revelations which made my mouth drop.He revealed the identity of the person who betrayed me and also said the person would go mad in the Newyear,unless they went to a church for confession in front of a segregation and ask God for forgiveness.This situation has left me pondering what to do,should I confront this person and tell them what was revealed to me ?
