Former Super Eagles goalkeeper, Peter Rufai sensationally returned to
 football ‘action’ yesterday nearly 48 hours after he was discharged 
from hospital following Monday night’s scary incident when he reportedly
 slumped in his office and was rushed to Toki Hospital off Adeniran 
Ogunsanya street in Surulere,Lagos.Rufai 
made an unexpected appearance yesterday morning at the Obafemi Awolowo 
stadium (formerly Liberty Stadium),along Ring Road in Ibadan to 
supervise the on-going Nesstle Milo Football Clinic.
Complete Sports was informed by Ralph Chidozie George,a journalist 
from the venue of the football clinic that did not show any sign of a 
man who flirted with death a few days earlier as he took a near active 
part in the clinic.
‘Rufai made an unexpected appearance here today (yesterday) to take 
charge of his pet project,the Nesstle Milo Football Clinic.He didn’t 
show any sign of a man who was reported to have slipped into coma 
moments after he slumped in his office on Monday night.We were 
pleasantly surprised when he arrived and decided to be a part of the 
clinic.Many people here expected him to just take a sit somwhere and 
watch proceedings but he instead got fully involved’’,revealed the 
former Brila FM man. 
Rufai’s brother, Bruce, later confirmed to us that the former 
Nigerian goalkeeper indeed arrived Ibadan on Thursday for the Football 
Clinic.
“Yes, my brother (Peter Rufai) arrived Ibadan today (yesterday) for the Milo Clinic”,Bruce said.
The football clinic starts at 8.am and ends at 3pm each day.It will come to a close tomorrow at the same venue.
