Chinyere Akueh and Sonia Obi have become the latest evictees from the ongoing Project Fame Reality Show, after emerging the contestants with the least number of votes.
When the results were released, Musulyn, Chinyere, Sonia, Christian and Didi were placed on probation and had to sing their way to survive and escape the claws of elimination. Sadly, Chinyere and Sonia were not so lucky.
Their fate was decided upon by the viewers’ votes after last weekend’s Classic African Night.
As a build to the eviction show, Musulyn sang Angelique Kidjoe’s Adouma, Chinyere-Omawunmi’s Love Nwantintin, Sonia — Onyeka Onwenu’s — Dancing in the Sun, Christian — Shina Peters’ Afro Juju and Didi performed Sir Rex Lawson’s Adure.
After thorough deliberations, the judges — Adebantu, Bibi Brew, TY Mix and guest judge Cobhams Asuquo — saved Musulyn, while the Faculty opted for Christian.
The other contestants took turns to vote for their favourites, while Didi got three votes, Chinyere got one vote but sadly this vote was not good enough to save her, thereby with Sonia becoming the contestants not saved.
