Despite the curse that often follows the cast of a superpower television hit after the show ends, the cast members of Friends has managed to find characters that work for them. Courteney Cox has earned a rabid fan base with her borderline alcoholic Floridian on Cougar Town; Matthew Perry might have finally found something that works in his grieving wiseguy on Go On; and Matt LeBlanc... he's doing pretty well with Matt LeBlanc. The NBC vet's Showtime series Episodes has just been renewed for a third season.
A third season of Episodes means more satirical jabs at American television, more catastrophic (albeit regularly humorous) extramarital affairs, and more of Matt LeBlanc adopting just about every character flaw that a single human being could conceivably occupy. Alongside LeBlanc are series stars Stephen Manganand Tamsin Greig as television writer/producers Sean and Beverly Lincoln.
When Season Two concluded in August, LeBlanc was on the rush to the hospital after an all-out brawl, and the Lincolns might have finally put to rest all the troubles that have been facing their marriage. The series has been ordered for a nine-episode third season, with production to commence in Los Angeles and London.
