Atiku Abubakar and other APC leaders are seriously working in Adamawa State to stop the impeachment of the governor of the state, Murtala Nyako and from what a source told, their effort is making very serious impacts on the lawmakers and the matter may be dropped any time soon.
Already, 13 out of the 19 lawmakers that signed the impeachment notice have withdrawn their signature and this simply means the impeachment can't fly with only 6 lawmakers. Lets wait and see what happens next.

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the new Emir of Kano.
The new Emir of Kano, Sanusi, signing his letter of appointment.
The Kano State Government has confirmed former Central Bank Governor Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the new Emir of Kano.
Sanusi’s appointment, which was formally announced at the ante chamber of the Kano Government House by Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Rabiu Bichi, took immediate effect.
Bichi, who made the announcement in Kano State Government House on Sunday, added that the date of his turbanning would be announced in due course by the kingmakers as soon as arrangements were concluded.

The SSG explained that Sanusi, who holds the traditional title of Majen Kano, emerged as the unanimous choice of the Kingmakers, adding that the emergence of the new Kano emir was the will of the Almighty Allah.
The former CBN governor became the 14thEmir of Kano, succeeding Alhaji Abdullahi Ado Bayero, who died on Friday.
Bayero was believed to have died of heart attack about one month after returning from a medical trip to London.
Bichi was however silent on the fate of the three other shortlisted contenders to succeed the late Emir.
United States defeat Nigeria 2-1
The United States team, Sunday, defeated the Super Eagles 2-1 during an international friendly played in Florida in preparation for the World Cup starting in Brazil in a few days.
Jossy Altidore struck in either half as Jurgen Klinsmann's side secured a comfortable victory in their final World Cup warm-up, with a late penalty from Victor Moses not enough for Stephen Keshi's Super Eagles to earn a share of the spoils.
While many would have benched Altidore ahead of USA's final 90 minutes ahead of their World Cup opener against Ghana on Monday week, coach Klinsmann maintained his belief in the forward.
His faith was repaid, not once, but twice, as Altidore gave USA the perfect send off for their Brazilian campaign and laid to rest some of the concerns over the omission of Landon Donovan from the 23-man squad.
The only blemish on USA's display - completing an unbeaten three-game warm-up series after previous wins over Azerbaijan and Turkey - was conceding a late penalty, converted by Moses, which denied Everton's Tim Howard a clean sheet while making his 100th international appearance.
While Klinsmann enjoyed the luxury of a fully fit squad for this match, his Nigerian counterpart Keshi was using this match to reshape his line-up after injuries had accounted for Monaco defender Elderson Echiejile - who misses the World Cup with a hamstring tear - and CSKA Moscow winger Ahmed Musa, another injury victim from the Greece friendly.
Kenneth Omeruo, meanwhile, had been unable to practice with the squad since suffering a heavy knock in a training ground incident on Thursday.
Perhaps it was the potential threat of injury that meant neither side appeared fully committed in the early exchanges, meaning opportunities were few and far between.
If Keshi had been hoping for a quiet day, then his heart must have skipped a beat when Celtic defender Efe Ambrose - operating at right-back - was clattered by USA midfielder Jermaine Jones.
Ambrose lay motionless for a moment, but resumed after being treated for a knock to his hip, much to the relief of the Super Eagles bench.
USA gradually played themselves into the game and with their first real passing move broke the deadlock on 32 minutes. After Jones had found Bedoya, the Nantes winger slipped in the advanced Fabian Johnson, and the Hoffenheim right back squared across goal for Altidore to apply the finishing touch.
With just one goal to his name all season in England, Altidore maintained his more impressive record at international level, this being his 22nd goal for his country.
Nigeria pressed for an equaliser as the half drew to a close, Jones doing well to clear after Beckerman had given the ball away in the centre while Howard had to deal with an Ambrose header from a corner.
The second half had a bit more pace to it than the first period, helped by the injection of fresh legs by both sides.
Clint Dempsey probably should have done better after a good run and shot in the 64th minute, but Vincent Enyeama deserves credit for a good stop.
However, the Lille goalkeeper was helpless as Altidore again repaid Klinsmann's confidence in him with a superb finish in 68 minutes.
Michael Bradley's chip forward found Altidore breaking on the left, the striker controlling the ball before stepping inside Yobo on to his right foot and drilling his shot in at Enyeama's near post.
Altidore was withdrawn near the end, more likely to savour the acclaim from the Jacksonville crowd rather than through fatigue, but the game was far from over.
Five minutes from time, Sporting Kansas defender Matt Besler felled Moses, who picked himself up and rolled the spot-kick past Howard.
It proved a mere consolation goal for the Super Eagles, however, who look as if they still have various problems to overcome - especially around their sluggish defence
Nigeria will kick start her World Cup campaign against Iran in eight-days time.
Do you think the Super Eagles are ready for the World Cup?
Egypt’s new president Al-Sisi sworn into Office
At a ceremony attended mainly by African and Middle East leaders, Mr. Sisi said his priority will be restoring security to the conflict-ridden country.
Mr. Sisi took charge of Egypt in 2013 after deposing former President Mohammed Morsi through a military coup on July 3.
He handed over the reigns of power to the head of the judiciary as the military, which Mr. Sisi headed, launched a brutal crackdown on protesters asking for the reinstatement of Mr. Morsi.
Thousands were killed in the crackdown. The army-backed government later outlawed the Muslim Brotherhood which Mr. Morsi belonged to.
Mr. Sisi won wide praise in Egypt for clamping down on the Muslim Brotherhood. His popularity soared within Egypt, amid growing violence by militants opposed to the government’s move.
The former army chief secured a landslide victory last month in a presidential election that featured one more candidate.
The inauguration on Sunday of the new leader was low key amid tight security.
President Sisi called for hard work and the development of freedom “in a responsible framework away from chaos” but did not mention human rights or democracy, Reuters reported.
Mr. Sisi is the sixth Egyptian leader with a military background.
Under former leader, Hosni Mubarak, Mr. Sisi served as the chief of military intelligence.
Parliamentary elections are expected later this year, but government opponents have been crushed and political parties weakened.

Akunyili, a former Director-General of National Agency for Food, Drugs and Administration and Control, died at the age of 59 in a Specialist Cancer Hospital in India.
In a statement announcing the death on behalf of the Akunyili family, a former Governor of Anambra, Mr Peter Obi, said Akunyili worked for a better Nigeria
``In spite her illness, she was unwavering in her belief in a better Nigeria. ... ``The last time I visited her in India, even when she needed all the prayers herself, she was full of concern for Chibok girls, security and other challenges facing the country...,'' Obi wrote.
The Nigerian High Commissioner to India, Amb. Ndubuisi Amaku, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Abuja by telephone that the former Information Minister died at 10 a.m.
``Dora Akunyili made a remarkable impact in the fight against fake and counterfeit drugs.
``I am pained like any other Nigerian that we lost a woman who was so dedicated to Nigeria.
``She was an uncommon woman who did everything to uphold the dignity of Nigeria in the health sector.
``She was a remarkable woman and figure and we will miss her so much,'' Amaku said.
The high commissioner said he had already spoken with Dora's husband, Chike, to express the Federal Government's sympathy.
``I assured him that the Nigeria High Commission would render all necessary assistance to repatriate her remains home,'' he said.
Dr Paul Orhii, the Director General of NAFDAC, in a statement, said: ``It was with shock but with total submission to the will of God that I received the sad news of the death of Prof. Dora Akunyili.
``She was a highly patriotic woman who deeply loved Nigeria and dedicated her entire life to the service of this great nation.
``May God the most merciful and most beneficent grant her eternal rest in perfect peace.''
Orhii said Akunyili's legacy would forever be remembered.
Sen. Chris Ngige described the death of Akunyili as a great shock.
``I received with great shock and sadness the news of the passing on of my sister, friend and schoolmate, Prof. Dora Nkem Akunyili.
``Her death is a tremendous blow and loss to her family as well as to Anambra, Nigeria, Africa and all humanity.
``Although Dora and I had a very spirited contest in 2011 for the Anambra Central Senatorial Seat into the 7th Senate of the National Assembly, she and I had been friends and very close.
``We were schoolmates at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).
``She was studying Pharmacy and I, Medicine. Thus, our parts crossed often. Even back then, Dora competed fiercely with her pharmacy contemporaries and even more with those of us in the Faculty of Medicine.
``Her husband, Dr Chike Akunyili, was my senior in Medical School and a respected professional colleague.
``I had tried to help Dora secure an employment opportunity with the National Drug Enforcement Agency as an Executive.
``She was very good friends with my sisters, such that they vacationed together and spent nights at each other's house and did female things together,'' Ngige wrote. (NAN)
